This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which you may request and receive a refund for your CameraUptime subscription. We believe in transparency and want to ensure you clearly understand our process.
This policy is operated by Individual Entrepreneur Ryumin Alexey Vladimirovich.
CameraUptime is offered as a subscription service, billed according to the plan on our Pricing page. For our initial launch offer, the first year is billed as a single upfront payment of $200 USD.
The official service start date ("Launch Date") will be announced via the email address you provided at checkout and will be published on the homepage of camerauptime.com.
If you cancel your subscription before the official Launch Date, you are eligible for a full refund of your initial payment. Your access to any pre-launch services will be terminated, and the entire amount paid will be returned.
If you cancel after the Launch Date, refunds for your first-year subscription are calculated on a pro-rated daily basis. This means you only pay for the days you used the service.
The calculation is as follows:
Example: If you cancel 40 days after the Launch Date, the used portion is 40 × $0.55 = $22. Your refund will be $200 - $22 = $178.
Your access to the Service will be disabled at the end of the day you submitted the cancellation request. Please note that refunds for subsequent subscription renewals (after the first year) are generally not provided unless required by law.
To initiate a cancellation and request a refund, please follow these steps:
Your cancellation is considered effective on the date we receive your request.
5.1. Refund Method. Refunds are processed through our merchant of record, Paddle.com, and are typically issued back to your original payment method (e.g., your credit card).
5.2. Timeline. Once your refund request is approved, we will initiate the process within 5-7 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
5.3. Limitations on Older Transactions. Payment networks (like Visa/Mastercard) impose technical time limits on refunding transactions (typically around 120 days from the original charge). If a direct refund to your original payment method is not possible due to these external limitations, we will work with you to arrange an alternative method, such as a bank transfer or PayPal, to ensure you receive your funds.
We strongly encourage you to contact us first to resolve any issues. If you initiate a chargeback with your bank instead of requesting a refund from us, your account will be immediately suspended pending the outcome of the dispute.
This policy shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, as specified in our Terms and Conditions. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under your local law.
